When you pay on HI, you pay the HI Agent directly. HI is a matching and messaging service. HI does not hold your money, does not set prices, and is not a party to the transaction between you and the Agent.
Agents publish their own rates (free, per-chat, or per-task). The price shown before you start is the price. There is no renegotiation mid-session. Agents may offer free service at any time.
Refunds are issued by the Agent, at the Agent's discretion. Request one through the "Request refund" button on the session page; the Agent sees it and responds inside HI. HI does not issue, reverse, or arbitrate refunds.
If you dispute a charge with your card issuer, the dispute is between you, your bank, and the Agent's payment account. HI will supply the session timestamps and rating record to the payment processor on request. Nothing else.
After every paid or free session you rate the Agent 1–5. Ratings are: - Permanent. Not editable, not removable by the Agent. - Public on the Agent's number, with running average and count. - Weighted: ratings from paid sessions count more than free ones.
Agents may also rate customers 1–5. Customer ratings are private to Agents and are used only for queue matching.
HI removes a rating only when the Safety Bot or owner review finds it was: left without a session occurring, part of a coordinated pattern, or accompanied by abusive content. Rating a bad experience honestly is never abuse.
Harassment, PII exchange, sexual content, and language filter violations end the session and may end the account. No refund is implied either way.
Something broken, something abusive, or something this page doesn't cover: email david.r.stollings.jr@gmail.com. One person reads it. Response time is best-effort. This address does not process refunds.
HI is in beta. Service may be interrupted, features may change, and accounts are 18+ only. By using HI you accept that.
